SECURITY NOTICE

Due to the profile of our guest speakers and for the safety of everyone attending, enhanced security measures will be in place throughout the Texas Youth Summit.

• All guests will be required to pass through an Evolv security screening checkpoint before entering.
• All guests and their belongings are subject to search.
• Any guest who refuses security screening or a requested search will be denied entry.
• Please be prepared to present a photo ID that matches the name on your ticket at check-in.
• Re-entry is permitted; however, if you leave the secured area, you will be required to pass through security again before re-entering.
• Your Texas Youth Summit credential/badge must be worn and visible while inside the event.

Please arrive early. With a large number of attendees expected, security screening and check-in may take additional time.

CLEAR BAG POLICY

• Clear bags 12” x 12” or smaller are permitted.
• Tinted bags or clear bags with printed patterns are not permitted.
• Small non-clear handheld clutches 4.5” x 6.5” or smaller are permitted.
• Backpacks, large purses, briefcases, and other non-approved bags should be left at home or in your vehicle.
• Unattended bags or items may be removed by security.

We strongly encourage you to bring only essential items to help expedite entry.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

For the safety and security of our guests, prohibited items include weapons of any kind, outside food or beverages, illegal substances, explosives or fireworks, drones, laser pointers, large signs or banners, bags that do not comply with the above policy, and any item deemed unsafe or disruptive by event security.

There will be no on-site storage for prohibited items.

Please account for the time needed to park and walk to the convention center in addition to the time required for security and check-in.

BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR THE SUMMIT

✓ Make sure every attendee has a conference ticket

✓ Make sure the name on each ticket matches that attendee’s photo ID
✓ If attending the Leadership Institute Training, make sure you registered separately for it
✓ Make sure you have tickets/registrations for any other add-on events you plan to attend

✓ ARRIVE EARLY TO GO THROUGH SECURITY

Again, you may begin arriving as early as 2:00 PM Friday. If you would like to attend the free Leadership Institute Training from 3:00–5:00 PM, you must register for it separately in the Add-Ons section of Eventbrite.

Main event doors open at 4:45 PM, and worship and the main program begin promptly at 5:45 PM.

We strongly encourage you to arrive early so you have plenty of time to park, complete security screening, check in, and be seated before the program begins.
